A Little Bit About Me...
Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog. I'm a former elementary school art teacher, now a stay-at-home mommy of the sweetest lil' girl ever. I have a passion for learning new crafts and creating custom handmade pieces.
I arrived at my passion for mosaics while living in France. I took classes with Elizabeth Smith for enough time to let some of her talent rub off on me (her link is below... she is awesome!) I have continued to pursue this craft since moving back to Texas in 2007. Most of my work to date is done with Opio glass tiles from France, but sometimes includes other glass as well.
I am excited by new projects, so please contact me if you would like a custom piece for your home. A set of coasters, a lazy susan, a mirror, a custom backsplash, flower pots, signage... nothing is off limits! I will work with you to get the design, color, size and price all where you want it. Pricing is based on materials used and detail of the design.
